Accessibility Statement for Dedham Parish Council

This website is run by Dedham Parish Council (www.dedhamparishcouncil.co.uk). We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

How accessible this website is

This site is believed to be fully compliant, however we know that some parts of our website are not fully accessible.

1. It is possible some older PDF documents within this website may not be fully accessible to screen reader software due to missing main headers or alt text.

2. The AGAR and Audit notices are usually signed and scanned as an image, and this content will not be available to screen readers. 

3. Archived items using Asset listing pages due to contrast errors. 

4. All Asset listing pages include the following statement. ‘The format of an Asset listing page means that Accessibility requirements are not met due to contrast errors. Accessibility requirements can be met by increasing the size of the text using the site Accessibility icon situated to the left of the screen.’

This statement was prepared on 27th September 2024 and updated on 23rd March 2025 and aprroved by Dedham Parish Council 7th March 2025.
