Was not aware Heath x-roads "disputed priority". Cars coming up Castle Hill often exceed the 30 mph limit substantially, barrelling up to the junction before braking furiously. By the same token vehicles travelling on Long Road rarely respect the 30 mph limit when no observers present. A chicane of some sort is required, perhaps where the 30mph signs begin on Long Road West. But Essex Highways budget suggests this will not happen
